Well, The early returns for my underdog bowl theory are ahh......not good. You can look at this several ways: Positive View: The dogs will have their day during Capital One Bowl week, so turn directly into the storm. Negative View: Tom Dempsey is lining up for a 63 yarder to the sack.
BOWL UPDATE: Late on January 1,2011, the dogs are 13-13-1 against the spread. Not impressive until you consider that the chalk was 7-2 out of the gate. This represents a pretty good swing in our favor.
12/22 Bowl Update: The dogs are 0-4, including an infuriating 1/2 pt loss by Southern Miss last night.
